Chapter 47: WARNING
Roark’s POV: It was very upsetting. Our day together should not have ended in such a manner, however, we had dealt with it. Though Nuri did not trust me right then, I am sure she will not hold it against me. I was not expecting Queen Athena to be here so soon. I thought we would have some more time by ourselves, time for me to get closer to Nuri, time which was very precious for us, especially after what father had told me. But now that Queen Athena was here I decided to take my leave, "Your highness... Nuri... I should get moving... I will see you soon Nuri... Good night to the both of you." Nuri and Queen Athena both said goodbye and I moved out of the house. Out of reflex, I stood listening to their conversation through the door. As they got more into the discussion, I heard Nuri say
