Minor Recap of Princess Nuri's Past in Third Person's POV:
Princess Nuri finds out that the heir of the dragon clan Phoenix, Roark, who she met at the gala of her Coming of Age Ceremony, is not her true mate, and is using her as part of a plan, something she yet has to figure out. However, after her discovery, she leaves the Draconis clan castle, to go to the mortal city.
In the mortal city, she encounters her real true mate, a mortal named Adam Swift. And though she does not want to immediately reveal her true heritage, circumstances result in her telling Adam that she is, in fact, a weredragon and a princess, among other details.
Her father and mother have visited her in her new house, which is located in the mortal city, where she will be staying for a while, and where she along with her family and mate will decipher the truth behind all the lies.
Phase 1 of her plan works out better than what she expected and results in Roark giving her a visit. Though she is seething with rage, she is staying as calm and as collected as she can possibly manage. When she asks Roark if he would like to join her for dinner and gets a yes in response.
We will be going back to the past and continuing from here, where Roark gives a surprise visit to Nuri at her place in the mortal city and was going to join her for dinner...
But I will leave you'll in suspense for the next few hours!
