When Gerald exited the hospital room, he almost bumped into Pamela who was returning from the terrace. He stepped back just in time to avoid a collision.
“Hi, Gerry. I didn’t know you were coming to visit dad,” she said once she realized who he was. “You should have let me know.”
Gerald hugged her and explained, “It was a surprise for both you and Gavin. I was just in the hospital room talking to him. I’m happy to finally see him again. I want you to know Cameron’s in with him now. It looks like they want some privacy.”
