As the white rental car accelerated onto Highway 18, George and Virginia wondered where Daniel Mendoza could have been taken and why Johnny Lozado would have kidn*pped him from the Regal Isabela resort. They were at a loss having no idea what transpired once Pamela left Puerto Rico early to be by her father’s side. All they knew was he was missing and had not made contact with Pamela, the firm, or even any of his family members or friends, including Corina, a woman Daniel recently pursued. He would have contacted Corina at the very least if he was safe especially because she had finally reached out to him wanting to spend more time together.
