Chapter 5 Bye Golden Treasure

After everywhere was calm, all eyes focused on Aria the woman not wanting to say everything at once and just try to gradually know her, preferably they started with introducing themselves starting with how they met at a black market although not disclosing what each of them went to do there, talking about their relationship, their marriage, how they were unable to give birth. Andrew the husband cut her short not wanting her to go deeper into that story of child birth it has been their scar although it has never been too late for them to give birth but they always wished they had their child just a year after marriage, looking at Aria the girl with a glim of light not to start with all the sad stories, he told her to call him Andrew and his wife Linda. Not wanting to make the girl uncomfortable after bombarding her with lot of talks they decided that if she is ready to talk she will and if she did not talk when they deem fit they will ask her themselves, after the whole talk Aria and the couples started watching a movie the wife excused herself and went to the kitchen to bring popcorn and drinks to the sitting room. Hours passed and the couples been exhausted both pecked Aria and went to their room, looking around she felt comfortable and relived after they went pondering over their hospitality although they did not talk about how they found her, she felt it will be a discussion she will bring up tomorrow, after thing of how she felt the man will take advantage of her she felt silly cause she has been the one all flustered ,the noise from the television annoyed the thinking Aria leaving it on she went to her room.The next day, aria woke up early cleaning her room and everywhere in the house except the couples room, after doing everything she went to the kitchen continuing with the leftovers from yesterday porridge. The couples woke up it’s a free day from work so they decided to wake up late, they went to the girl room and not seeing her there ache their heart thinking she left they were devastated and started ramping through the house from the backyard to the sitting room their last resort was the kitchen seeing her there the hugged her tightly with tears.Aria being all confused but not wanting to be lost in all that happened break free from the hugs looking at the overly dramatic couples, after explaining why they were all in tears, Aria giggled assuring them that she will never leave the house without their contest. They all went to the sitting room and the started talking randomly about everything, Aria being more comfortable and all asked how she was found the husband reencounter how he found her and how they have been taking care of her. Hearing everything she was moved to tears thanking them for all the care and decided to talk about herself but withheld the information about the nun, after hearing all of this the couple decided that she will be their child but felt it wasn’t necessary after asking for her age, the couples hearing Aria will be eighteen soon their eye glittered. They told Aria they prefer calling her golden treasure if she is okay with it, Aria found it pleasing that someone treasures her after the day activities and all.Days turning into month they became more closer and Aria was more than grateful for meeting them, things went on smoothly the weekly shopping, family outing finding a good hobby cooking, and all. Soon it was the big day Aria eighteen birthday after asking what she want although she felt it was risky telling her parent that she want them to adopt Ethan not wanting to risk anything because the orphanage will investigate the adopting parent and if she is being found her rosy life will be full of worm.After much deliberation she asked for an orb with the picture of all three of them on it.After a successful birthday Aria found it odd that her parent did not sleep in the house that very day all but not wanting to think much she did all her best the next day to please them and appreciate their efforts. They came home bring more gifts for Aria and praising her blessing the day they meet her and promising her a surprise later that weekend. Aria being more excited than ever just in two days another gift from her parent very eager to know about it she kept asking Andrew cause she knew Linda will never say anything after much pressure mission successful he told her they will gift her the orb she asked for in they very place the couple meet each other to strengthen the bond of the three and make it a family tradition. Aria eye being moist she hugged him tightly and happily that they considered her more than a family, Andrew told her not to tell Linda cause he does not want to get whooped.They all dressed up making sure Aria was dressed in her best casual clothe, feeding her to her brim they drove to the black market on their way there Aria noticed that her parent were more happy than usual she too was happier. Before getting to the place they parked their car on started just twelve minutes journey on foot, on getting to the exact spot both Linda and Andrew meet they both pecked Aria saying she was really the sweetest and best golden treasure they have ever had, after gifting her the orb two hefty men came dragging Aria away from her parent.Aria yelled for help looking at her parent who cared less and laughed collecting a huge bag from the third man that came, the orb on aria hand fell to the ground still not able to comprehend what has happened is she going back to the orphanage or this was all a dream she never wants to wake up from.
