“I still think this is the worst idea you’ve ever had.” Gulliver trotted his horse up between Tierney and Queen Bronagh. He tugged his hood down low over his eyes as they traveled the long dusty road that would soon take them into Vondurian territory.
“It wasn’t my idea,” Tierney said, chewing on her bottom lip.
“I know. I’m just saying there is no way either of you could ever pass for a credible maid. Not without weeks of training. A few days learning how to make tea isn’t going to fool anyone who's ever had an actual maid. Not even Keir.”
