Tell me I deserved it.
She’d wanted to believe Keir was justified in his actions, that the wrong he’d committed was for a reason. Yet, he knew the truth. What he’d done to her and her friend was unconscionable. He’d acted just as his father would have.
When Tierney first appeared at the end of the battle, Keir had only wanted to get home. He hadn’t considered who she might really be, that maybe she wasn’t the spy he’d assumed she was.
