Back in Fairy Academy, Rose and Bella are cleaning their house. Bella is using magic and Rose is telling her where to keep what, what to clean, arranging stuff and other manual work.
“Did you see Rose how did the super humans saved us?” Asked Bella.
“Yes di (di is abbreviation for didi which means elder sister) I was in lecture when we were under attack. Where were you?”
“I was here, took a day off. I was on call with Peter talking about a short trip we are planning. Then we heard the blast and within few seconds, Peter was called by his group people to come for our rescue.”
“Ya, I did see him fighting with those trolls and killing the creepy creatures. This is the first time I was ever in such a situation.”
“You don’t have any such attacks on Earth?”
“Not actually! Life on Earth is very boring! But here, anything can happen any moment.”
“Are you serious? I so much wanna visit Earth but Peter always stops me. He says I should wait for the right time to visit Earth. Says it isn’t safe their either.”
“Well, there are many other mal practices like k********g, extortion, murder and all in there but nothing like this. So this direct attack was far friendly than that one.
This world is far better than that. That one’s cruel. Here if you die, you die in seconds without suffering. This place is like the one we see in movies.”
“I love watching Earth movies. Here we don’t have any such sort of entertainment.”
“Well don’t you think life here is already exciting enough?”
“If you think this world is any less dangerous than Earth then I guess you are wrong. You have no idea about the dark creatures here.”
“Sure, but I would like to know more about this world.”
“And I would love to visit Earth. I wanna go there but I have no idea about it. And don’t know how humans will react. But I know it’s a beautiful place.”
“Not just one place. It’s a whole planet sis! You should definitely come with me.”
“Tell me more about your world”
Earth is blue if viewed from space and has 25% of land, rest 75% is water. The land is divided into seven continents and these seven continents have further been divided into countries. All the countries have their own culture and type of people that live there, language and cuisine.
But a student’s life there isn’t as exciting, as it is here. I mean just imagine, a dragon attacked our college! Haah! I could have never thought of anything so super natural happening back on Earth. Such things happen only in movies.”
“Well it’s very common here!” said Bella
“I have always read in books about mythical creatures. Didn’t know they were real and are the population of a planet. Never thought I was gonna be a part of such world! Never thought of being a princess or a fairy….
…or a mermaid.” She whispered.
“There are many creatures here Rose, other than witches and sorcerers, ghosts and goblins… there are night crawlers, warlock, satyr, centors, dragons, insects, monsters and so on.
You don’t know who will show up next. You should be extra cautious here Rose. You have no idea what you could get into. Three years back a fairy was killed here during day time when she was walking in the woods.”
“Are you serious? Who killed her?
“Three witches who were possessed by the evil.”
“But why?”
“For a sacrifice! I am pretty sure Earth won’t be that difficult to live on. I mean you can at least step out of your house alone. Have a walk in the park… but Peter is totally not interested to take me there and doesn’t tell me much.”
“Oh yes, Peter was on Earth for some time….. Hmmmm”
“But dii, tell me one thing, why did only the special humans arrived here for our help?”
“They are our immediate neighbors Rose and plus our partners.”
“You mean we help them when they need us?”
“Bella laughed. No baby, they never need help, we do. We always do. Our protection is their Responsibility.”
“Responsibility?”
“It is the duty of mutants and warriors to help any other college which is under attack. Witches and wizards got the power of dark magic so they are self-dependent upto a limit but whenever Fairy Academy, Therondia, Quill or even Zariya is under attack, Sanctum and Nethal students have to reach out for us.
And since the mutants are our next door neighbors, it is presumed that mutants have taken up the responsibility of fairies.”
“Wow! Sounds super tempting!”
“But you know what Rose, for once I wanna live a normal life where I can do whatever I want and people won’t judge me for being a Princess… I wanna be able to travel alone…. Go farrrr… explore without the fear of being attacked by crawling creatures of night or get killed by a Troll.”
“Oh ya, I saw the trolls too! It’s completely a new concept for me.”
“Did you see someone else too?”
“Oh ya those brown creatures!”
“No I mean when you came looking for Peter!”
“Yup! A lot of people, why?” Rose said wiping the dishes.
“Did you see Sky?” Bella looked at her and asked in a serious tone.
Rose stopped and said “Oh! Sky!” Rose smiled. “Yes! I did see him!” Rose blushes but Bella couldn’t see her face since Rose was facing opposite.
“Rose, you know who he is right?”
“Yes! Indeed! Everything almost.”
Bella thinks Rose knows who he is by relation and says, “You would have heard many good things too, but let me warn you to be away from him!”
“WHY?” Rose freaks out, turns back and asks but suddenly cools down since Bella is elder to her and politely asks, “I mean is there any reason?”
“Don’t you know he hates your father, Rose? And besides, he is your favorite Peter’s archenemy!
“WHATTTTT?”
“Yes he hates your…”
“How can Peter have enemy?”
“Are you interested to know why he hates your father or… let it be?”
“Oh yes yes yes, tell me”
“Sky’s father was best friend of our uncle Liam, whose kingdom your father froze.”
“Oh damn!” Rose’s heart is broken.”
“Yes! Said Bella and she continued. “Sky’s was closer to Uncle Liam than he was to his own father. He hates his father. After your father won the battle, he took help of dark magic and froze Uncle Liam’s kingdom making sure he’ll never come back.”
Dark magic! No wonder my kingdom appears so dark with all the clouds covering it.
“Sky was really upset that he couldn’t protect King Liam’s kingdom and now it can’t be restored. He was away at that time else you wouldn’t have been here Rose. Sky would have killed off everyone if he or his army was involved in that dirty battle which took place six years ago.
He returned to his kingdom from his warrior training when he came to know about this and it was too late that time. He searched for ways to retrieve the frozen kingdom but the dark magic there is very strong.
He didn’t kill your dad because your dad didn’t kill Uncle Liam and Sky still has hopes to retrieve the frozen kingdom."
Now Sky can never be mine. He hates my family. How can he support someone who tried to kidnap me? I know I had no chance with him anyway, but at least I could dream about him. This love is f*******n.
Bella says, “Are you listening to me Rose?”
“Oh yes dii, say! Rose was lost in her thoughts.”
“Look, my darling sis, Sky will be the best superhuman you will ever come across. He will be the perfect guy straight out of your dreams. He has won many battles and has highest number of achievements recorded in history because he takes his life very seriously since that battle.
He considers it as his own loss and prepared himself in such a way that no one can defeat him. He is fully dedicated to his life. Sky is our college’s crush Rose but you are supposed to stay away from him ok. I don’t want you to be after him like those other stupid fairies.
I don’t want you falling in love with that rival prince. He can be dangerous. If you wanna date someone or have a boyfriend, you have so many other options. There are so many other guys. I don’t want my darling’s heart broken. So stay away from him.”
Great, now I am officially not allowed to even like him! Di hates him so much. And by the way, how can anyone be Peter’s enemy? May be I should stay out of it.
Why does he hate so many people? He is such a darling! Sky has probably lost his brain. Oh wait, maybe he doesn’t have any. I hate Sky! How can he do this? But he isn’t that bad! I mean if he was bad, he wouldn’t have saved us all that day.
How can someone so helping, be so bad? Rose is in dilemma. She continues cleaning.
