***After few days, in college***
Rose is trying hard to not think about Sky while thinking about him in spells lecture. So he talked to me that day... Rose gets distracted by the sound of someone falling on the floor followed by books.
“How dare you think of him?”
Cheryl pushed off a nerd fairy who was carrying book lot in her hands. The girl fell down terribly on the ground and all her books and stuff scattered around her.
The nerd was chubby fairy with curly brown hair. Cheryl on the other hand was former prom queen and the most arrogant fairy student Fairy Academy ever had.
“How dare you even think of him? He is so mine! SKY IS MINE!” she screamed. “How dare you keep his photos?”
Rose noticed Sky’s photos scattered with the pages. She was shocked to see what Cheryl can do to someone just for having Sky’s photos. Rose suddenly hid her phone.
The girl was quiet as she couldn’t speak a word. Cheryl was the worst fairy student of the college and nobody could do anything to her. She was a fake person who acted nice in front of Ma’am and worst with fairies who loved Sky.
Rose couldn’t stand this but she was helpless. She couldn’t do magic and so her hands were tied.
Cheryl continued, “If I come to know that you have done such thing again, I will burn you alive, and nobody would know.”
In Fairy Academy, students are not allowed to use magic on other students. They cannot perform magic inside the campus on the fellow students. But Cheryl breaks all the rules.
She is daughter of Xandor's king’s advisor and did practice dark magic in secret. Xandor was one was the greatest empires ever built. She grew up with Sky and though he is meant for her while Sky ignored her and her childish behavior.
She left after calling her fat and the nerd fairy started crying. Everybody gathered around her. Rose gave her a hand to get up and made her sit on the nearby chair.
Bella collected her stuff from the floor. Rose looks at Sky’s various photos on the ground.
How can someone be so good looking and handsome at the same time? Everybody felt bad for the girl but no one could help her. Rose hugged her trying to calm her down.
“It’s ok, relax!”
“You are so nice Rose!” She said while crying. “I really like Sky so much. Is keeping Sky’s photos a crime? I will not do it again!”
“It’s ok dear. Cheryl doesn’t own him. She has no right on him.”
“Actually she does!”
Rose is curious. “How?”
“Technically she is the only fairy he talks to. She is his friend.”
“That doesn’t give her the right to harm you. Who does she think she is?” Rose was furious.
“Don’t talk like this Rose, she will hurt you too!” Said Bella
“I am not scared of her. It’s not upto us to love someone or not! How could she?”
“Rose you please calm down. It is illegal to love Sky….” Said the girl
“No it’s not!”
Bella looks at Rose angrily.
“But she can keep Sky all to herself if she loves him so much! What’s the need to hurt someone? And anyway, who does she think she is? She is not his wife or girlfriend!”
“Rose it’s not like that, you don’t understand, I am not worth loving him!”
“What? Worth? No way! It’s not about being worthy or not! It’s just that you have no control on who you can fall in love with. Her behavior was really bad! Why don’t you complaint about her?”
Wao! Why do I sound like I am convincing myself?
“That won’t help either Rose. She will hurt her more” Said a fairy from the crowd.
Everyone left and Rose is standing here feeling helpless.
All this conversation reached Sky through his informers in Fairy Academy.
“Damn that girl! What was the need for Rose of creating such havoc? Now I have to do something.”
“You must! To save your image and to dignify your glory.” Replied Rafe.
At home Rose is having mixed feelings about Sky. Her mind and heart are having a conflict.
He is dangerous! Said the mind.
Yes! Dangerously charming! Said her heart
He is useless. He has no control over Cheryl.
Well whatever happened today wasn’t his fault!
But whatever happened today, happened because of him.
“I hate him so much!”
Next day, Rose is still disturbed because of what happened a day ago. So she goes to Ma’am to complaint her about the incident.
“May I come in ma’am?”
Oh come in Rose”
Rose enters the dean office and sees Sky with two more guys.
She gets startled for a moment and walks inside. Is he really here or am I just seeing him like I did yesterday in my room at night?
Please have a seat Rose while I talk to our very special guests.” Said Dean.
Ok this one is real and isn’t my imagination.
Rose sits on a couch in the corner watching Sky talk to her.
She sees him talk and couldn’t stop admiring. She is trying hard to hide her feelings from him. The more she looks at him, the more she likes him.
Why does he come in front of me when I just want kill my feelings for him? Oh god he is looking gorgeous even in clean shave! Fu*k he is so hot!
But I have to admit, clean shave makes him look young. And those blue eyes! Is he even real or a dream? Stop it Rose just stay away from him, you can’t let the other guys know you too are crushing on Sky.
Oh s**t he can read my mind! NO way, I am sitting far from him. I bet he can’t read my mind. Else he would have at least looked here.
After sometime, Sky stands up. Rose stands up too looking at him.
Everyone looks at her.
Fu*k I shouldn’t have…! Why did I stand?
The other 2 guys with him also stand up.
“Nice meeting you ma’am! We must leave now.” He said this looking at dean and looks back at Rose, before they all left.
It was as if he was looking through my soul. Is there any connection between…
“Come here Rose ” said Dean.
Rose walks up to Dean and says, “Ma’am…
“I know why you are here Rose , I understand you.”
“You do?”
“Oh yes, but don’t worry, Sky met her and talked to her.”
Suddenly Rose’s anger faded away.
“He what?”
“Yes, he is fully aware of what happened yesterday.”
***Back in Sanctum***
“Did you see Rafe ? The way she came to Edith ma’am today to complaint against me!”
“You sure she was there to discuss the nerd?”
“Yes!!!”
“Did you read her mind?”
“No! I couldn’t.”
