After Dean Adam left, they all had to move to training room where they had to select a skill and make teams, one for each skill, and learn it. The room had elevated steps on three side walls and chairs mounted to it for seating.
“Welcome ladies!” A mutant sitting on the desk, gives them a piece of paper.
“Please take 5 minutes and select any one skill you are interested in.”
Rose looks over the list of skills which includes Archery, Shooting, Karate, Fencing, sword fighting, Boxing, Judo, Martial arts, technical stuff, etc.
“So what do you want to learn Rose ?” Asks Peter.
Rumors were that Sky was gonna teach Archery. So almost all girls have opted for Archery.
“Definitely not Archery!” Said Rose .
Sky is sitting in a different class room.
Everyone thinks that I am Archery guide, so most girls will opt for Archery. But she won’t. She will choose something different.
Looking at her, and according to the movies she must have watched on Earth she should select, something which she basically grew up seeing.
“Sword Fighting!!!” They both said at the same time. Sky to himself and Rose to Peter.
“Great choice said Peter.”
“I don’t think there’s a lot of girls for that!”
“Hey Tyson , who’s the guide for Sword fighting?”
“Aaa, well, not assigned yet!”
Sky comes here with 4 vampire type poker faced guys and settles on the seat.
“AAAAAAAAAAA!!” The girls go crazy again and Rose covers her ears. All the sensible people cover their ears because of the high pitched screams and echo.
“Why don’t you teach me Peter?” Asked Rose .
“You want me to? Sure.”
“All I can say is, I really don’t mind a hot guy teaching me sword fighting but you are the safest to have around. I don’t trust anyone else.”
“Hey Tyson , write my name next to Sword trainer guide’s name.”
“I was right, she did select sword.”
“Why don’t you come over here and teach us Archery Sky?” One of the girls in the crowd asks.
“We are all ready for it.” says the other one
“Who? Me? No way I am just here to relax.”
“Ohhh!!!” Girls are sad and now conscious about their practice.
Basically he is here to make fun of everyone and judge us! Peter hears Rose , and he smiles.
Peter takes two swords from the bundle kept on the stairs and gives one to Rose and takes the other for himself and starts teaching her. She is the only one for this skill.
She looks up to see if Sky is looking at her but sadly he isn’t. He is busy sitting in between getting all the attention and talking to those 4 poker face guys.
His presence is making Rose nervous. The training has started and Sky is not the guide for Archery, it’s some other mutant.
Peter tells her the basic moves. But Rose is feeling nervous.
“Focus here Rose . I am very strict guide.”
“Leave it Peter I don’t wanna learn anyway.” Saying this she walks to the chair to keep the sword.
Peter grabs her hand and turns her back, “Hey hey hey, I was just kidding. Relax!” he keeps his hands on her shoulder, “everything will be fine.
Sky looks at them.
“No it won’t be…I am good for nothing…pretty sure I can’t learn it. I can’t even do magic.”
“Oh forget magic, learn a skill. At lease it will be with you throughout your life.”
“What if I fail here too?”
“I won’t let you down Rose . You have me by your side. Always! And besides, I am a very sexy trainer. So it should be easy for you to be involved in learning. Remember nobody has personal trainer but you.”
May be I should give it a try.
She does give it a try but is getting all the moves wrong.
After 20 mins:
“Focus Rose , it’s not a one-step skill. It requires time and practice.”
“I can’t focus I am feeling nervous and I got performance anxiety.”
Peter shouts, “Hey Sky!”
Everyone including Sky looks at Peter.
“Can you please leave?”
“What!” Rose ’s eyes widened.
“Why?” Asked Sky
“You are making everyone nervous. Just leave!”
“Oh no Peter that’s so ru..”
Peter interrupts Rose with a “shhhh”
Sky literally gets up, so do those other guys with him and they leave.
“Damn I don’t believe it.” Rose is happy. “But I didn’t say anything about him.”
“You think I don’t know you? I also know what he is…”
“I still don’t believe he did listen to you and actually left. Oh Pete you are my hero!”
“That’s the least he can do for me. You do know about Sky and me right?” Asked Peter!
“Oh yes! Totally! I know everything. And I hate him cause he hates you.”
Peter looked confused, “Ah ohhk.”
“Now let’s focus, you gotta teach me all these moves which I grew up watching in movies.”
They continue the practice and Rose is actually doing very great without Sky being around. She is picking up real fast. And why not? It’s Peter who is teaching her. Peter is the second best student of Sanctum.
Meanwhile, in Edith’s office, Sky is seeing Rose on the Magic Crystal.
Peter is really trying hard to get this girl. Why is there a need to touch her so much? What type of college romance is this? I really wish Bella was here to see this. She is freaking over possessive for Peter. It would have been so much fun.
After few days, Sky’s searching team finally finds everyone missing in the mirror galaxy far away. They were locked up there to die, by the evil forces.
Everything is back to normal and Rose is now highly skilled in sword. She even wins over Peter once in the training (which he deliberately did) and he is really proud of her. She is sleek and has got flexible body which speeds her up.
Rose hasn’t seen Sky for few days but the sword is really helping her to not think about him. She is confident now and wishes to cut anyone who dares to come in her way. During her last practice day, Peter asks her for a favor.
“Hey Rose , I need your help!”
“Sure Peter, anything for you.” Rose is drinking water.
“Sky wants to talk to you about something”
Rose chokes on the water sip. All her confidence ran off.
I don’t wanna face him. Peter hears Rose ’s thoughts.
“Easy easy easy… he needs your help.” Peter rubs her back.
“My help? *cough* Regarding what? *cough*”
“Well, you went on Earth right? He has questions for you. He has something in his mind.”
“Went on Earth? I grew up there!” Rose is back to normal.
“So if you have time and you are interested, he would like to talk to you.”
“Sure”
“He told me to call him up whenever you get free.”
“Well, call him now.” Rose is excited and finally confident enough to face him.
She is wiping off her sweat by towel while Peter calls up Sky.
“He is in a meeting now, but he said he will here in 30 minutes.”
“Great, I’ll go home take a shower and meet you here again?”
“Sure.”
