When a warrior shared Alpha Marcus’ command to guard the food stores in the east, Nate wasn’t surprised. It was becoming their spot to go to each time a breach was announced and with good reason. The enemy were attempting to starve the Gold Dawn pack into action and those stores were the last of their supplies. It would be smart to attack them. Even knowing that, Nate hadn’t expected to find the situation that faced him. The first prickles of doubt hit him at the edge of the township, when he found Meghan’s scent heading to the food stores. It was fresh. Zac sensed the same and the pair picked up speed. Mia was always by Meghan’s side, and they had to warn them of the dangers that could be heading their way.
