Nate POV - Zac had seemed different ever since that night at the ball. He had hardened himself. Nate saw it as clear as day, though he doubted anyone else noticed. His brother was a difficult man to warm up to and few saw him as anything other than a Full Moon Alpha. Unlike himself, Zac didn’t find socialising easy. He could speak in front of the whole pack or meet face-to-face with an enemy without ever blinking an eye. However, throw him in a room of wolves having a party or a casual catch up, and he will withdraw inside himself like a timid pup. Nate had never understood it, but he had the gift of the gab.
