Modern Day Princess

Chapter 2

"Miss Karsyn, wake up miss Karsyn, are you okay?"

"Where am I?" She asked as she sat up. Now holding her head she asked herself, Why does my head hurt so much?

"Well miss, you are at home, the royal palace, your room."

Oh no, no, no, not here again. Why am I trapped here? I just want out. I want to be free. I want to fly far away. Why can't they let me go? I don't fit in here and I don't know why? However it is nice here, if not boring and lonely. "So are they mad, Wolfe." Zara said.

"Do you mean your parents, oh no, heavens no, not really. They were more worried then anything else, but they would not admit it." Wolfe answered.

"So how is Lepati, I did not see him after I fell?” Zara said.

Lepati is the butler at the palace. Also the man who was chasing me in the woods. He is from Brazil. He is really mean to me.

“He okay, but he is mad at you.” Wolfe said.

“Well of course he never really liked me… at all. So what time is it?” Zara said.

“Its about seven thirty. Why?” Wolfe said.

“Why? What do you mean why? I have school today and if I do not leave now I will not make it there.” Zara said.

“Oh miss you don’t have to go because your parents decided to let you stay home today. They thought you would be tired because you didn’t get much sleep last night.” Wolfe said.

“So, its my first day at a real school.”Zara said. I really want to go!

“There will away be tomorrow.”Zara said. I hate this so much.

“Oh… okay. So what’s for breakfast Wolfe?” Zara said.

“Scones and tea miss. Do you want any?” Wolfe said.

"No thanks. I think I will just have a couple piece of toast if that’s okay Wolfe.” Zara said.

I hate that we have it everyday. Why would any one in the whole world eat that so much. It’s just sickening.

“Okay miss.” Wolfe said.

After she ate her toast breakfast she went out to the backyard. Her hothouse is full of all sorts of plants. There are flowers from all around the world, fruits, vegetables, bushes, and trees. This is her favorite place in the world. No one ever goes in there without her and/or her permission. Her father, the king, Laszlo and her mother, the queen, Dorera let her grow and take care of the plants. She spends most of her time here.

“Today I can plant and water you guys all day in the silence since I don’t have to go to school!” Zara said talking to her plants. In an instant she heard something move.

“Hello Is there someone here? If so your not allowed here.” Then a bird flew toward her face from the bush that moved where there are a lot of apples and she fell back.

“ Oh so it was you my little friend. You scared me. So do you want to play.” They played for a couple of hours in the hothouse. "Are you hungry? Do you want an apple?” The baby bird on her shoulder chirped sharply. A bush started moving after she chirped.

“Okay I’ll take that for yes.” she starts walking over to that bush.

“Owe”
