Chapter 7

827 Words
Priya clutched the blooming black rose, its glowing seed pulsing like a tiny heartbeat in her palm. Her husband’s ghostly whisper still echoed in her head. “You were never mine.” The words hurt more than they should. Damian pulled her close, his muscular arms wrapping around her protectively. “Whatever that was, ignore it. Azrael plays with minds.” Lilith stood, brushing dirt from her dark dress, eyes scanning the approaching torches. “We need to move. Now.” But Priya didn’t move. Power hummed in her veins — new, dark, and intoxicating. She looked at the glowing seed and whispered, “What are you?” The seed answered. It dissolved into her skin. The mark on her wrist flared bright, spreading black veins up her arm for a second before settling. Priya gasped as knowledge flooded her: memories of other widows who had made the same choice. Pleasure. Power. Pain. “I can feel them,” she breathed. “All the women who came before.” Damian’s eyes widened with a mix of pride and hunger. “You’re awakening faster than we expected.” He pulled her into a deep, claiming kiss — tongues battling, hands roaming possessively. “My perfect little widow.” Lilith pressed against her back, lips on her neck. “And so f*****g beautiful when you bloom.” The mob was close now. Priya could hear their angry voices. Instead of fear, heat surged through her. She wanted them to see. “Take me again,” she demanded, voice stronger than before. “Right here. While they come.” Damian growled in approval. He lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapping around his waist. In one brutal thrust, he buried his thick c**k inside her. Priya cried out in pleasure, back arching. “Greedy girl,” he grunted, f*****g her hard against a tree. “Taking my c**k while the village hunts you.” Lilith kissed her hungrily, fingers pinching Priya’s n*****s. “Our queen is finally waking up.” The romance was deeper now. Every thrust, every touch carried possession mixed with genuine care. Priya felt seen. Desired. Powerful. She came fast and hard, moaning loudly into the night. Damian followed, flooding her again with hot c*m. Torches appeared at the edge of the field. Pandit Ramesh pointed. “There! The witch and her demons!” Priya turned toward them, eyes glowing faintly. She raised her marked hand. Shadows erupted from the ground, forming a wall of darkness between them and the mob. The villagers screamed and fell back. Damian laughed darkly. “That’s my girl.” But the victory was short-lived. Azrael’s presence returned — stronger. The ground split open near them. A portal of swirling black energy appeared. “You cannot run forever,” Azrael’s voice boomed. “The Court demands the widow. Her soul is rare — untouched on her wedding night, yet burning with lust. She will be our greatest weapon.” Lilith grabbed Priya’s hand. “We have to jump through. It’s the only way to escape the village and Azrael’s reach here.” Priya hesitated, looking back at the burning village. Her old life. The chains. The shame. Damian cupped her face tenderly. “Whatever you choose, we fight with you. But know this — I’m falling for the fire in you, Priya. Not just your body.” Her heart skipped. Real love. In the middle of darkness. Tears in her eyes, she nodded. “Together.” They ran toward the portal. Azrael’s shadowy tendrils shot out, trying to grab them. One wrapped around Lilith’s ankle. She screamed. Priya reacted on instinct. She pushed her new power forward. The black veins on her arm glowed. The tendril burned away. Lilith was free. They leaped into the portal together. The world spun. Cold darkness. Whispers of thousands of souls. Then they landed hard on cold marble floors. A grand hall stretched before them — beautiful and terrifying. Black pillars. Floating candles. Shadowy figures watching from thrones. The Court of Shadows. A tall, regal woman with a crown of thorns stood up. “Welcome, new sister. We have waited for the Widow who broke on her suhaag raat.” Damian and Lilith tensed, shielding Priya. The crowned woman smiled. “But there is a price for our protection. You must choose, Priya. Serve the Court… or we feed your lovers to the void.” Priya’s mark burned. Power surged. The black rose’s influence whispered strategies, seductions, and dark promises. She stepped forward, naked, marked, and covered in the evidence of her new lovers. Her voice echoed with new authority. “What if I choose to rule instead?” The entire Court fell silent. Then laughter erupted. Azrael appeared on a throne, eyes gleaming. “Bold. But foolish.” Suddenly, Priya’s dead husband’s spirit materialized in front of her — translucent and angry. “You betrayed me on our wedding night!” Everything froze. To be continued…
