Jeremy opens the door for me to a small theater full of people. Everyone is dressed from neck to toe in white, made yellowy by the soft lighting. They are almost identical, but they are divided by gender.
On the far side, the female members of my family sit in reverent silence. They’re surrounded by a few female friends from the YSA branch.
My brother shows me my seat, near my father and some male YSAs. I have an assigned seat in the front row.
