* * * * Jeremy When after a whole minute they’re all still staring, on the edge of their seats, I swallow my cereal and innocently say, “Emma Woodmansee? She’s fine.” Mom won’t quit with that I know everything face. “Is there something I’m missing?” Freddie asks, rubbing his unshaven chin. If not for him being here, I would glide up the stairs and just leave everyone wondering. But boy, would I like to see his face when he finds out. Not gonna lie, he had me worried when I kept reading his name over and over again in Emma’s emails.
