Intrigued by Sita's letters, Ram begins corresponding with her. They exchange several letters, gradually falling in love despite never having met in person. Sita’s letters provide Ram with a sense of belonging and hope. Ram, eager to meet Sita, finally discovers her identity and travels to her hometown.

When Ram and Sita finally meet, their connection is immediate and profound. However, their happiness is short-lived as Ram is called back to duty. They promise to reunite once Ram returns. Unfortunately, fate has other plans. Ram is captured by enemy forces during a mission and is presumed dead. Heartbroken and believing that she has lost Ram forever, Sita continues to wait for him.

In the present day, Afreen's search for Sita leads her through various places and people connected to the couple's past. She learns about their love story and the trials they faced. As Afreen pieces together the details, she becomes determined to fulfill Ram’s last wish.

Ultimately, Afreen finds Sita, now an elderly woman living a solitary life, still waiting for Ram’s return. She delivers Ram’s letter, which reveals his undying love for Sita and his hope that they would be reunited in another life if not in this one. The letter brings closure to Sita, allowing her to finally move on from the decades of waiting and pain.
