Jaehee's Pov Without actually forcing myself to do anything, I picked up speed and ran into the woods, with the amount of speed I put into running, it felt as if I was floating on air. It felt incredible! I had never felt so much alive before! I know I was against turning into something that forced me to give up my humanity yesterday, but right now I'm kinda glad I went through with it. So this was what it felt like to be immortal. I stopped running when I smelled a familiar scent, at this point I'm kind of lost but thanks to my sharp nose, I was able to pick up a scent that smelled all too familiar to me.
