THE MYERTON POLICE Station was attached to the Myerton City Hall, a concrete and glass structure with all the charm typical of mid-20th century Brutalist architecture. It could have been a professional office building for doctors, lawyers and dentists. The only thing that set it apart were the metal letters that spelled out “Myerton Police Department” over the concrete-covered walkway leading to the glass doors. The inside was no more appealing than the outside, white walls contrasting to a white and black speckled floor of formica tiles. While the walls looked like they had been painted relatively recently, overall it didn’t look like much had been done since the original was built.
