The black cat slowly opens its eyes,feeling dazed and somewhat appalled.
'Did I just fall asleep'
The black cat lift his body up only to get caught by a hand holding his tummy.
Only when his eyes turn to look at his side,he saw that his target was sleeping beside him.
'W-wha-What the!'
Not only did he caught for peeping in a woman's room he was also sleeping beside a woman?!
Huh?!
This is so shameless of himself.This is the first time that he could ever be close to a human.
So close that they had slept together.
And worse of all is...its a woman he is sleeping in.A woman for crying out loud!
No...This not the worse thing...the worse of the worsest thing is he is sleeping with his target!
Unbelivable.
The black cat tried to get away from Avila's grasp but was hugged again tighter than it was before.
"Hmmmm..."Avila moaned and it was obvious that she was waking up that made the black cat even more terrified.
He has to get away...he has to get away.
Although,his heart said otherwise.
'Come on...It wouldn't hurt if you like it...'
'Yeah,you are still in a cat form so act like a cat and cuddle your target.'
'This is your last chance.'
Such things were keeping his mind puzzled.
He was dozing off and by the time he finally gets into his senses he was suddenly lift up in the air.
'What is this?deva ju?'
"Hello!Did you sleep well?"said Avila who sat up from her bed.

"Can it undertand you?"The little boy asked.
"Can it see you?"Avila replied back in question with a low voice.
"No.And you did not even answer my question....By the way,you are the only one who can see me and because I am only a system in this world so I am completely invisble in front of the eyes of others.No one can see me except you,brat.But someone might call you a lunatic if you speak to me now.Even the cat can realized it."The little boy explain firmly.
Still so arrogant and looking down on others,Avila whose anger hasn't yet cool down from earlier's incident (the previous chapter),chopped the boy in the head before she corrected her posture then put the black cat in her other arm.
"Even if I am the only one who can hear and see you,I can still touch you."Avila put her hand back while the black cat who was on her other arm,dumbfounded of what he is looking at.
'What is she chopping?The air?'
"Ow!That hurt,brat!"
"Late reaction.Good job on the acting skills!"Avila complimented with a gentle smile but this even made the little boy beside her more irritated.
"Why you little brat!"
"Baby."
"Shortie."
They insult at each other on and on that even made the black cat listening to them,more dumbfounded that he even thought that he was halucinating or convinced that he was in a dream.
'Am I in an illusion or something?'
"Bang,bang!"
The door was suddenly knocked that the atmosphere became silent.
Avila and the little boy looked at each other then nodded.
The black cat was utterly left dumbfounded.
"Come in..."
When Avila said in response the door suddenly opened.Revealing a strand of orange hair,it was Sabrina.
'Oh no!I forgot!My cheek is still red.'
"Young miss?Did you fall asleep?You just missed eating lunch and its already afternoon..."
Sabrina suddenly went pale when she looked at Avila's face.
She let go of the food in her hands that she was about to give to Avila for lunch in shock.
'Oh no!My lunch!'Avila cried inwardly.Feeling sad of her food being wasted in the floor.
As Avila was about to picked up the food from the floor,Sabrina suddenly grabbed her arms with a solemn expression.
"Miss?Who did this?"Sabrina's other hand went from her elbows to her face.Gently caressing the cheek that was swollen and red,avoiding her face to be scratch by her nails.
"Aaaaaahhhh...Aiya...Hahhaha"She awkwardly laughed.
What to do?what to do...What on earth can she think of another lie?
She has been a good liar all this days with her interaction of the people in this world,atleast she said it to herself, yet why does this situation became harder to resolve?
What?She is gonna lie that the cat did this to her?
Although,its literally obvious that the cat's paws are softer to even damage a single cheek.
Welp,its better to try it than to be looked in the eyes until you tell the truth,right?
After all,Sabrina is the most innocent person she has ever met that even she can't tell who is the real Avila.
Even though,if she tells the truth nobody would ever believe her or rather...nobody cares.
What could a maid do if the son of the duke suddenly slap his sister?
Does she even have a power to go against a noble?
"The.Cat.Slapped.My.Face."She said with an awkward yet serious tone.
The cat flinched at Avila's fake confession.
He knew that her brother had slapped her earlier because he has been with her for a long time,but why did she lie?
Besides that,why did she involve him into this?
Even if he slapped her,her face might have been disfigured now.
Why did she accused a black cat who is completely cute and adorable?
"Meow"
Sabrina."..."
Avila."..."
"Miss?...I am not gonna tell anyone.Alright?I won't pressure you if you won't but please...Miss,I am very worried about you."Sabrina begged Avila,lowering herself to fit Avila's height,then lean her forehead onto Avila's forehead while the cat was still in Avila's arms.Listening and behaving well.
Sabrina was very worried that her tears suddenly drip from her eyes.Hastily falling on the ground.
Seeing this,Avila jerked up,she made the most innocent person in front of her cry.
"Sabrina,even if I tell you,what will you do?"Avila lift Sabrina's head with her one hand while the other carried the cat.
She wiped her tears from her eyes then looked into her eyes.She stopped crying then her expression turned to solemn to rage.
"Don't worry,young miss!I will protect you.I would even beat that bastard up for destroying your beautiful face."
Avila smiled at her ouburst.Finally,the most innocent person came back.She was glad and relieved.
The black cat looked up at Avila's expression."..."
"Then,will you beat up the son of the duke?"Avila blurted.
"Oh,yes!I would!That bastard harshly made my sweet Avila's face swollen!Who cares about rumors or status...Wait-Who?!"Sabrina turned her head to Avila in disbelief.
'Oops.That was a slip of tongue.'
"Miss?...Your brother did this to you?"
I nodded hesitantly.
Upon hearing these,the most innocent person who Avila knows suddenly gloom.
Tears swelled through Sabrina's eyes.Her eyebrow arched in a frown.
All of this crying might make Sabrina's eyes ugly.
It might make her eyes droop.
She must stop this.
If she can't stop this kind of trouble...who knows if she might be misunderstood by the people for her droopy eyes and the worst case scenario is...the people might question Sabrina.They will aske her why she cried then if Sabrina is put into too much pressure,she might tell them the truth then I am the next thing that they will target.
"Young miss?Are you alright?"
"Did your brother really slap you?"
"I will protect Avila from now on from her cruel brother."
"So cruel...her brother slapped her and the father ignored these...what kind of family is this?"
"Utterly disgusting..."
Rumors might spread out then the perfect family portrait might be destroyed.
She must fix this somehow.
