Chapter 8That evening, after taking a nap, Wes comes up with something he wants to try on the animated bodies. He thinks Ollie’s in the family room so that’s where he heads. And sure enough, lighting a fire just as Wes comes in, Ollie’s there with a nervous but determined Randy and a slightly erratic Mica. She hasn’t been sleeping well and she’s given up on hiding the dark circles under her eyes.
“This is going to be interesting,” Wes says instead of his theory about the bodies.
“We need to talk about your methods,” Mica tells them firmly and she’s supported by Randy’s nod.
“Sure,” Wes answers her.
“I figured,” Ollie says and gestures for Wes to take a seat.
