CHAPTER 10
Victoria arrived late the next day. She had a bad night's sleep and missed her schedule.
“Sorry I'm late, Lucas.” She apologizes to him.
“If you tell me you're more willing today, I'll forgive you.” He joked.
“I'll do my best.” She promised. The poor boy was not to blame for her personal problems.
As promised, she gave her best shot and was able to get better results than the day before. The boy conveyed a lot of confidence and had an enviable mood. That friendship was doing so much good for her, that despite having had good times with Ricardo, she felt immensely lonely.
