Madeleine’s POV
I awoke in discomfort, as if 10 people had pummeled me. When I tilted my body, my eyes were still closed, and when I opened them, I saw the guy sleeping gently, as if he were an angel. I'm still in awe of how beautiful his face is. Perhaps the Lord loved him so much that he was bestowed with such a gorgeous face.
"Hmm..." He shifted his weight slightly and placed a hand on my tummy. I was quickly reminded of our first day in the same position. I couldn't help but be astounded that it seemed to be fate for us to find ourselves in this situation once again.
