“Stop it.” I shouted at both of them and dad appeared next to me the next moment. I was sure he heard us arguing, just like half of the people inside.
“What’s going on here?” He asked as he glared at Darick with a cold look on his face. I asked him before not to intervene and not to scold Darick for what he did to me, but it was obvious that he wasn't happy with him.
“Nothing, the guys were about to go inside and have fun.” I told them pointedly and dad nodded his head when the two of them made their way inside while glaring at each other and I let out a sigh.
“You are popular with boys, I see.” Dad said with a chuckle after they left and I smiled at him.
“Where is mom?” I asked him because I didn’t want to discuss those things with my newly found dad.
