“You can say that again.” Luna chimes in laughing. The nurse gets ice to put on my leg and examines it further. “Well honey it looks like you broke your ankle. I am gonna get you a boot to wear but you will need to go into town later to get some X-rays done.” The nurse says leaving the room. She comes back with the boot and puts it on my foot.
The nurse then started to bandage my neck, giving me strange looks as she does. I am thankful she does not question me about the bite mark on my neck. They allowed me to return to my room on a pair of crutches, but I must go to town tomorrow to get the X-rays done.
