I blinked a couple of times listening to her words. My lips trembling due to the fear settling inside me right now. I didn't know what was going to happen, but I knew that it wouldn't be good. This was what I had feared the moment I had stepped in. The fear when I get a little attention and it's a repercussion.
"I...I am sorry...I didn't mean to" Vee gave me a disgusting look before turning back to her friends. As she walked away, she swayed her lips knowing that most of the eyes were on her. She was before Lord Andrew yet she wanted the attention of all males on her but when I was getting any, I was framed as a culprit. It was beyond my understanding.
I had to keep working here, avoiding Lord Andrew, and now try to ignore the daggers thrown in my direction from Vee.
