Violet POV I was pretty surprised to see Dave happily having his dinner with Dane because he was usually unfriendly to every man in my life. Dane was having lasagna with so much concentration, it was as if he hadn’t had dinner in a long time. There were crumbs around his lips which I felt like wiping. Instead, I focused on Dave. “You’ve got it all over your face, Dave!” I said as I wiped his face with a napkin, glancing at Dane. He pushed my hand away and wiped his face with his little fingers. “I am not a baby,” he growled. Dane snapped his head at Dave and grinned while I rolled my eyes. “You are still my little baby,” I said, and wiped his face, anyway. “So, Dave, what do you want to be when you grow up?” Dane asked, scooping a large portion of lasagna from his plate.
