I became so lost in my own thoughts of that morning I thought I heard his voice drifting through the wind. I looked down at my watch and knew I had to leave. As I stood, I looked toward the cab. T.J. was standing there with his duffle bag over his shoulder. In disbelief, I shook my head to make the painful sight of T.J. disappear, but the vision of him remained. I walked toward him. With each step, I expected him to disappear, leaving me alone.
