After my beta told me that I seemed happy but also confused, I wondered why Alpha Emily was here. I thought she hated me. Why did she come?
I told my beta to go on; that I would be there in a minute. I felt so confused as I kept pondering what was happening. Had she come to warn me again?
"What do you think she came here for?" Derek asked me, but I remained silent for a moment, pondering the same thing. I just don't understand. She used to hate us, but now she's here.
I stood up, walked over to the door, and touched the handle as I spoke, "There's only one way to find out."
After saying that, I walked out of the room and into the hallway. I saw her standing there with her back facing me. As soon as she heard a sound, she turned around and saw me, a smile on her face.
