CHAPTER THREE Lily's pov I was pulsing hard. My fear and confusion were ingrained on my face. I looked around at the soldiers that girdled me, my fearful eyes meeting those of my mate. His stony expression weakens me the more. I was dragged into the castle, down the corridors, and thrown into a dark dungeon, and the rustic door slammed behind me. I crashed on the harsh, cold bottoms with darkness circling around me. firmed on the spot, I still could not move past that moment, the icy regard of my mate. His abomination and wrathfulness for me could not be hidden. I did not know when my eyes gathered with gashes, and they rolled carelessly from my eyes. He abominated me! My own mate abominated me! I brought my hands to my face, blubbing profusely. The last time I felt this hurt and broken with gashes in my eyes was when I was only twelve and was tortured by my father for speaking to the retainers I was tortured a lot worse than this, but that did not indeed hurt this important. I coiled against the cold walls, bawling my eyes out in the darkness. I had no idea when I fell asleep in the darkness. I woke up to the blaring silence that echoed through the walls. There was no way of knowing how long I'd been down then. It was cold, and whatever I was sitting on was making my body hurt. The bottom was hard and sticky. The cold air around me was making me fluctuate. All I could do was stay in the darkness for a long time. At that same moment, the big rustic door made a loud squeak, and a veritably strong radiance illuminated the place. I had to pull my hand up to cover my eyes from the light, and when I had acclimated to the terrain, I looked up and saw Harrow. My breath hitched, getting stuck in my throat. His altitudinous and dominating figure moved closer to me as I forced my legs to stand. He'd a towering height that I had to force my aspect over to. He bore down on me with flickers of raw feelings that I honored as abomination and nausea. I gripped the silken fabric of my dress, fighting back the appetite to cry. " Let's get one thing straight. I've only one woman in my life, and that's Shelly, and no bone differently." His voice was more brutal than the downtime's gravest wind and sharper than any brand to my casket." You mean nothing to me, Lily Reign. Absolutely nothing!" He made sure to enunciate every word, which echoed within the walls of my head, boggling me." I've a many rules on how I run my pack. Everyone must abide by them, and that includesyou. However, your stay in my pack will be sufferable, comfortable, If you abide by these rules." His voice was so deep and so smooth, with a faint accentuation. I could fluently hear to it all day, indeed though he sounds so ruthlessly cold. I did not speak. I could not trust my own voice not to betray me. rather, I heeded to him, like an biddable little wolf. " originally," he began," you speak only when spoken to. Secondly, you aren't allowed to step out of your chambers without my authorization. Thirdly, you're only allowed in my office when called upon and noway allowed in my chambers, ever. Fourthly, you aren't allowed to step out of the castle without my authorization moreover. And incipiently, stay out of Shelly's way. That is a warning, Lily." He whizzed with so important abomination that I squinched at the intensity. " Despising these rules will only earn you excruciating discipline." He concluded without any emotion. I could only gawk in maximum unbelief at his words. Without vacillation, he turned his reverse to me, heading to the door. " W- Why?" I asked breathlessly, in pain and gashes." Why Harrow? I'm your mate." No matter how hard I allowed about it, I could not suppose of a presumptive reason why he despised me so much. He stopped moving for a nanosecond and turned to face me. In a flash, Harrow was before me, his large hand on me, but not the way I would have wanted it. His establishment grip squeezed my neck, slamming my reverse against the merciless wall. " H- h- Harrow?" I choked, unfit to breathe, while my hands fell on his. " I advised you, it's nascence to you." His hold tensed, and I was heaving for air. " Please. you're hurting me," I could slightly hear my voice, gaping into his eyes, which were glowing a band of bright unheroic, or golden. But he did not let go. My hands cleaved to his tightly, pleadingly. I could feel the c******g sparks that erupted at the bare contact." Please, Alpha," I rumored, a gash rolling down my eyes. Reluctantly, he let go, dropping me on the bottom. I gripped onto my neck, swallowing as important air as I could in gashes. " You'll spend the rest of the night then, serving your discipline." He goggled down at me like I meant absolutely nothing. Casting one last regard at me, Harrow stormed out of the dungeon, leaving me in a dark and cold space by myself again. I coiled up on the bottom, slipping gashes. After a while, the rustic door grassed open, and a plate of food was tossed outside. I finished my food, staying in silence. These were the worst hours of my life, being locked up by my own mate. I slept for some time, indeed though my body sounded veritably important alive the whole time. It was a sleep full of my usual agonies, which made me wake up spooked all the time. The rustic door opened again, allowing a shaft of sun into the room, accompanied by a familiar face. The youthful woman I met outside the castle. " Hello, do you flash back me? I am" " Kyara," I said, recalling her name. She gave a small smile. " The Alpha asked me to take you to your chamber." I stood up on my bases, still, without saying a word. Kyara led me out of the dungeon. I was eventually attended to what looked like my own chamber. Kyara locked the door, looking at me courteously." Oh, my lady, why did you pick a fight with Shelly? Did not the nascence tell you?" " About his nut? No." I shook my head, actually. She transferred me a pitiful look." Well, that is it. Shelly is like the nascence's most favorite person in the Castle," I felt a pain in my casket. " I am sorry. I should not have said that. I just wanted you to know that he cares deeply about her." I could slightly form a word. " I will run you a warm bath, my lady, and after that shoot someone to cost some food for you. Meanwhile, if you need anything, just let me know, my lady." She hastened past me, but I stopped her, holding her hand. " Thank you. And please, call me Lily." She smiled." Alright, Lily." She went to the bathroom, and in a many twinkles, she was out. She was about to say commodity when a knock came at the door. A youthful lady strutted in. She looked youngish than me, with black hair that framed her heart- shaped face impeccably. " Ah, this is Luma, and she will be serving you," Kyara informed me. The youthful girl smiled, bowing her head in respect." At your service, my lady." " Please just call me Lily," I said, feeling uncomfortable with formalities. She smiled, glancing atKyara. However, my lad" She broke," If that is okay." Lily," " By the way, the Elders are then," Luma said in haste, turning to Kyara. The Elders? As in the Council of Elders? Every nascence in the south was a part of the Council, including the nascence of the noctambulist Pack, Harrow, my mate. The Council was a circle that comported of several supernatural kinds, each having a representative within the Council. The Council Elders are the oldest wolves and represent our kind in the Coun cil.
