Epilogue Tommy had acted eternally grateful to the cops for their protection, even though he had to sit on a small bed in a plain jail cell for a couple of hours. He tried not to act overeager, although he was dying to get any information. He couldn’t stand the cops’ presence, but he needed to let them think they were keeping him safe. He was just an innocent bystander caught up in the craziness.
