Chapter 4 I wanted to tell Heath what I’d found, and was glad to see him and Swan entering the pub as I came down the stairs. He looked up at me and grinned, and I couldn’t stop myself grinning back. Luckily Swan’s mobile rang just then and he stepped back outside to answer it. Heath waited by the reception desk for me. ‘How’s it going?’ ‘OK. I really need to take Mia home.’ I shifted Mia on my hip, put the box on the counter and held out the photo and clippings. ‘Did you see these in Macca’s room?’ He took them from me. ‘I saw the photo. Where did you find this other stuff?’ He read the clippings quickly. ‘Tucked inside that book on Vietnam.’ I scanned his face, expecting to see at least a glimmer of curiosity, but he half-shrugged and gave it all back to me. ‘What – don’t you think
