Jerry's POV
Today, Jordan, Liam, and I are headed to the water park before catching a movie tonight. My long-distance relationship with Harper is going well; she’s five months pregnant and taking online classes until she returns in December for school in January. She’s already met a couple looking to adopt her baby once it’s born.
“Jerry, when are you supposed to pick up your friends?” Mom called from downstairs.
“Um... around 9:30 AM.”
“Well, it’s 9:35 AM.”
Crap, I was late.
I hurried around my room, grabbing my bag, money, towel, and car keys.
“Bye, Mom, love you,” I said, kissing her cheek as she came upstairs. We shared the same blue-green eyes.
“Be safe, and please bring Jordan over soon; it’s been a while since she visited.”
“I will.”
“You're late,” Jordan chuckle
