“So tell me about yourself,” Tiffany said as we sat on a bench while most people were in the movie room, and others swam or played volleyball.
“I’ll be 18 in September,” I replied.
“Cool, mine’s August 26th,” she smiled, “I’m older.” She winked.
“I’m the captain of my lacrosse team,” I continued, and she nodded. “I love parties,” I added.
“Awesome! I’ll be throwing a huge birthday party; you should come,” she said.
“I’ll think about it. I love action movies.”
“I prefer comedy. So what’s going on between you and that light brown-haired girl?” she frowned.
I sighed, “Nothing,” but I wished there was.
