Kindel met Travis when she was in high school. He moved to their town, Nolanville, Kentucky, during her sophomore year. He was blonde-haired, blue-eyed, 6'2, and handsome, and every girl in high school wanted him. She was long, blonde-haired, blue- eyed, 5'3, and exquisite. Travis was a year ahead of her. At first, he ignored her and was dating other people. He noticed her when they had a class together in her junior year. k****e didn't know what to do when he started staring at her. He took the courage and asked her out a few months into the year. At first, he was so set. He would give her gifts, and they would spend a lot of time together. They went to prom together, and that night he got a hotel room. When they walked in there, there were rose petals and some wire. He was trying to make her like him more. Travis's hard work paid off. She ended up losing her virginity to Travis. His gentle nature shone through as he took his time with her. She loved this because she had dated no one like him. He doted on her as if she were the only girl around. After that, they were close. He graduated and went into the army as a National Guardsman. A wave of fear washed over her at the thought of him being sent to active duty. Travis was great at his job in the army, and he loved it. She graduated the next year and went to the community college in Bremond for her RN in nursing. Kindel's parents were so proud of her when she graduated. Her mom, Julie, and her dad, Jackson, had two other children: an older son and an older sister. They moved into an apartment together, which was so nice. She found out that his parents are well-off, and he lived off a trust fund. She loved this time in our relationship because it was the best time in our relationship. It started getting bad when Travis got hurt during training. He had a hard time recovering. He pulled her away from her friends and family little by little, so that in the end all that she had been was him. He began drinking to help with the pain. When he drank, he was a mean drunk. He became abusive. It just happened every once in a while at first. He would call her names like b***h or w***e. We would accuse her of sleeping with someone else. His accusation cut her, especially given her unwavering faithfulness to him. Travis had seen her talking to some of her old guy friends and laughing, and that made him think they were cheating. He then started hitting her, but he never did it on the face. At first, he would do it where people couldn't see it. Kindel thought she was to blame; that she somehow did something wrong and made him angry. She didn't realize that it was about to get way worse. After she graduated from the RN program, Travis started drinking way worse because the Army kicked him out. They found out about the drinking because he was going to his training drunk or high. They also found out about the abuse because of rumors. The day that he got kicked out, she got a pretty bad beating. Travis started by punching my eye. Then her stomach and anywhere he could hit. She fell down on the ground, so he started kicking her as hard as he could. He got her stomach, her legs, arms, and her head. She started spitting up blood, and that made him mad. "How dare she mess up his floor with her filth," he told her. She said nothing but sorry. She knew if she said anything more than he would hit her some more.
