When Wyatt went to the store, it took a while because of traffic, and then he had to figure out exactly what to get for Kindel. Once he got her something and got back on the road, he got back to the house in good time. He called out for Kindel, but no one said anything. Wyatt searched everywhere. She didn't say she was going anywhere, and she was sick, so where is she? He called her phone, but he heard it ringing on the kitchen counter. When he found the phone, he had a bad feeling come over him. The feeling was that Travis had gotten to her somehow. The next phone call was to Meghan to see if she was there. Meghan told him she wasn't, and that it was really unlike her. She said she would be over in 10 minutes, and he should call the police. Wyatt called the police, and they took a report. They said that there is no evidence of foul play and she hasn't been gone for forty-eight hours, so they can't really put in for a missing person. They let him in because of his name. He told the police about the letter, and that changed things. They knew who she was with and who they needed to look out for. Wyatt told him she had been abused, and that is why she left him. There is a police report. The police took notes and left. Once Meghan got there, he showed her the letter, and she was scared just like Wyatt that Travis had something to do with Kindel's disappearance. Wyatt started calling all his friends and seeing if they could help spread the word that he is searching for his missing girlfriend and that she is in danger. He sent an updated picture of both of them so that they knew how she looked and printed missing flyers. The next thing he knew, he had a swarm of news reporters to get an update from . He pleaded with the person who took her to let her go, and that there would be no further comments or questions. Three weeks later and the FBI got involved in the case because they found evidence that they had crossed state lines. They didn't know where they were exactly, but they knew he had funds to move anywhere. They had confirmed sightings of both of them crossing state lines.Wyatt could not believe that almost a month had passed and still no word from either of them. He has cried so much that it hurts.
