Mr Daniels looked at Kindel with a look like he was seeing stars, but then he hurried up and covered up his reaction and put on a flat reaction like he had before. Kindel did not know what to think about this reaction, so she just kept smiling. She looked at him to find his problem, but she only noticed his handsomeness. Kindel had to regain her focus, which took her aback. He looked at her and said, "Finally, you have an interview that started twenty minutes ago!" Kindel again didn't know what to say, as she didn't want him to be s. Wyatt had seen nothing like that, so he told her, "Don't apologize; it's my fault. I am the one with the anger problem. He said, "Well, let's get started with this interview." Kindel finished the interview and Wyatt was very impressed with her. She did not have any work experience, but she had life experiences, and there was something about her that Wyatt just couldn't put his finger on. Wyatt told Kindel that she had the secretary job to the CEO, who is him, so she would work for him. She was excited, but also scared. Wyatt said that she would start next Monday. When Kindel got out of the building and was in her car, she screamed at the top of her lungs because she was so excited.

She got home and told Meghan, and there was more screaming. Meghan said, "We need to go shopping as soon as possible because, girl, I love you, but you don't have any professional clothes, so we have to go shopping as soon as possible." Meghan and Kindel both laughed, and then they got ready. They took Meghan's car, which was a really nice 2025 Volkswagen. They went to many stores, and Kindel found a handful of clothes that she can wear and interchange between the five. She washed, hung up the clothes, and then chose the clothes she wanted for Monday. She laid them out the night before and went to bed early so she could get enough sleep for tomorrow. Tomorrow rolled around, and she made sure she woke up extra early so she could put makeup on and curl her hair, eat a healthy breakfast, brush her teeth, and then be on her way to work. She did a double-check of her appearance before she went, just to make sure there were no touch-ups or fixes that she needed to do. Meghan and Kindel went in different cars just in case one of them needed to stay later than the other. It was about a 20-mile drive to the nonprofit center.

When she went in this time, she said, "I am here because I am the new assistant to the CEO, Mr. Daniels. The woman looked at her and then back at her computer and said that she would have to fill out paperwork for the new employee packet and also do all the insurance information. The information took forever because she had never done anything like it before. She finally got it done about two hours after it was given to her. She was then told to go up to the twentieth floor because that is where Mr. Daniel's office is. When she got up there, Mr. Daniels was waiting for her at the door, and he was extremely mad. He said, ,"Why are you so late?" She said that she was late because she had to do the employee paperwork and she had never done anything like that before. Wyatt didn't know what to say because he had never seen someone as an adult who had never had work experience. He just told her, "We will take it slow and see how it goes. Is that okay with you?" Kindel agreed. It turned out that the job was not that complicated, and Mr. Daniels was fairly laid-back. They talked throughout the day, but Kindel did not give him any of her personal information because she doesn't want Travis finding out and her getting in trouble again. He told her what the company did and why it was established.She hated that this is how it has to be, but it does for right now. Wyatt thought it was weird that she wasn't also giving out any information , but he didn't know what to make of it.
