CHAPTER 70 Damien’s POV “Come to the south side of the park. Near the statues. You'll see an empty bench there. Sit in it and wait for me.” “Is that him?” Tony asked. “Yeah. We'll need to do the rest on foot. Come on.” I tucked the gun into my waistband and climbed out of the car. Tony was beside me instantly, his hood up. The moon was bright, casting a soft glow on the lively park. In just a few minutes, the place was abuzz with a dozen more people. After locking the car, we headed into the crowd to blend in. My phone vibrated with another text. “Where are you? And what do you have for identification?” I thought for a moment, then texted back. “Navy blue parka with the hood down and grey pants. I'll be there soon. I'm walking across the park now.” His reply was immediate. “Ok.”
