CHAPTER 24
Rose’s POV
But he didn't, and I moved closer to him, daring him with my eyes. He turned away from me and began unbuttoning his shirt. Tossing it on the bed, he marched into the bathroom. A moment later, his trousers came flying into the room. Then he slammed the door shut, and I heard the water running.
“You can't escape me, Damien,” I said in a singsong voice, raising the pitch so he could hear me over the running water. I headed towards the bathroom door and continued calling his name and laughing at intervals. I had so much fun taunting him that I laughed so hard with tears nearly coming out of my eyes.
The bathroom door opened suddenly, and I yelped loudly when his strong hand pulled me in. He shut the door immediately and came to stand in front of me, an evil smile on h
