As much as I tried, I couldn't get the thought of Anne Williams off my mind. It couldn't be a coincidence that she had ended up in a vegetative state in the hospital a short while after publishing that article on Helixis. Definitely not.
And that kind of thing happening only showed just how dangerous those behind it were. Damien knew about it, but was he involved? What if he was a leading participant? What were the clandestine operations that the program was suspected to be part of?
