CHAPTER 29 Damien’s POV The cool morning breeze delicately touched my face as the drive began. Our guide was a tall, onyx dark man with a contrasting set of perfect white teeth. As he drove the land cruiser away from the resort, Rose produced two sets of binoculars and handed one to me. On the way, we saw many other vehicles filled with other guests that were also staying at the resort. Most of them were foreigners, and I noticed that a handful of them were Asians. The first animal that came into sight was a lone zebra, hopping slowly as if it had injured its leg. Farther down, the rest of its group were huddled together, all of them looking in its direction as if anticipating its approach.
