Rose’s POV
The sun was in full force when I arrived at the bar, scorching the earth as if it had a grudge with it. I'd been so bored at home that afternoon that I had to call Ariana and see if she wanted to hang out.
That was exactly forty-five minutes ago, and the sun was far hotter than it was back then. Pulling my sunshades away from my face, I pushed the door open and walked into the bar. My eyes widened in pleasant surprise when I saw not just Ariana but also Karen and Danny, all of them seated next to each other on the right side of the room.
