CHAPTER 37 Rose’s POV The room was perfectly silent when I woke that afternoon, the only sound the faint hum of the central air. My eyes felt heavy as I rose from the bed, and it took me a few seconds to become accustomed to my surroundings. At first, it felt like I was still in Kenya.
