I sat there in the silence. They left me there all alone, blindfolded. I knew Mark was here, but I also knew he was helping me. If it wasn't for her him, Daniel and Josh would have continued to beat me. I'm not sure what Mark was being blackmailed for but I was so thankful he was here.
My body was in pain from being hit multiple times. I was covered in sweat from my adrenaline trying to keep my body from shutting down. I lost so much sweat that my lips are dry and I craved just a drop of water.
