It's been 3 days since the doctor told me that Xander was in a coma. He had no idea when or if he would wake up. I was completely unable to leave Xander's side. They had us in a room that had a shower and a couch, so I really didn't have a reason to leave.
My dad and mom and Andrew for me. They would switch off with Xander's parents if they needed to, but for right now, Andrew was content and taken care of. My dad would bring me food throughout the day and would sit with Xander when I would go to shower so he was never alone. The nurses had pity in their eyes every time they came in and saw my state. I had managed to push the couch as close as possible to his bed. I couldn't handle being so far away from him.
My mom would make sure I got to facetime Andrew at least twice a day. T
