Third person's POV Somewhere back home someone was grieving. He didn’t want the same fate he had to befall his daughter. Having nothing else other than work to help you numb your pain and to avoid the painful situations that are around your life. That was his life. He didn’t want the same for Delilah as it was too painful. He had lived it and didn’t wish that on anyone not even his enemy. But for him he had his mother by his side while his daughter had no one now. Although his mother had tried being there for Delilah she didn’t know the love of a mother and maybe he was to blame for everything. He blamed himself for everything and that’s why he couldn’t bring himself to look at her or stand before her. Many may say that he didn’t love her but God knew he would do anything for her. H
