“Have a good day at work!” Andrea called from her office.
“Love you!”
“You too!”
Lately, Andrea seemed to be on a roll writing. Jeremy felt like he barely saw her between his work and her writing. Whenever he was home, Andrea spent most of her time in her office. He could hear the keys on her keyboard clacking away, so he knew she was writing. Otherwise he might have thought she was avoiding him.
He felt conflicted because he wanted to spend more time with his wife, but he knew how hard it was for her to find the inspiration to write. Jeremy knew he should be happy for her that it finally was happening for her but he couldn’t get rid of the nagging feeling that something was off. He brushed it off and walked into work.
