Jeremy
Jeremy was relieved when his sister and parents got along well with Andrea. Missy had even made plans to spend time with Andrea later in the week. He hadn’t expected that, given how Missy had openly disliked all of his previous romantic partners.
Throughout dinner his parents had asked Andrea the usual getting-to-know-you questions and seemed to be happy with all of her answers. It was silly of him to be nervous. Andrea was a great woman and had a way with people.
His parents had asked them both about their plans for the future. Andrea told them about her writing project. Jeremy happily added that they had just started trying to conceive. His mom looked a little surprised at that but had recovered so quickly with a smile that he wasn’t sure he had seen her initial reaction.
