Jeremy

Jeremy was late heading home from the office. He had only been working at this job for a week but it seemed like he already had a lot of responsibilities. The new company he worked for was fairly small and, as Jeremy was discovering, not very efficient. The products were not being manufactured on time and there was a lot of staff turnover across the company.

There were a lot of changes that would have to be made if the company wanted to keep their current customers and get new business. Unfortunately, the burden of that was laid on Jeremy and his team.  

Thankfully, Andrea was understanding when his work ran over into personal time. She had her own work to keep her busy. Not that he knew much about what she was working on. From what he could tell it was going well. She was spending a lot of time in the extra bedroom they had turned into her office. 

The other bedrooms were empty for now. Jeremy was hoping to change that soon. He knew it was early in their relationship to be having a baby but everything about their relationship had been fast and it seemed to be going well for them. Plus, Jeremy wanted a big family so they would have to start having children soon if they wanted to be done by the time he turned 40. 

The couple was having dinner with his parents tonight. The Bridges had met Andrea in passing and talked with her on the phone briefly. This would be the first time they spent any real time together as a family. Jeremy was nervous but he knew his parents would fall in love with her, just like he had.
