Melissa
The fall weather in Michigan was comparable to the weather in New York so Melissa had prepared for the biting cold that was starting to set in. She looked in her closet at the sweaters she had brought with her. Melissa chose a bulky maroon sweater that touched the top of her thighs and pulled on some blue jeans. She wanted to be as comfortable as possible when she went trick-or-treating with Abby and her niece and nephew.
It was still hard for Melissa to wrap her head around the fact that she was an aunt or that Abby was a mom. She wondered how her brother would take the news.
